Plan Your Visit
The Blackwell School Alliance maintains a museum with exhibits and artifacts, which is free and open to the public.
Museum Hours:
Saturday & Sunday | 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Monday | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Private tours are available by emailing blackwellschoolmarfa@gmail.com, subject to availability.
Please Note: The Blackwell School Museum is currently staffed on a volunteer basis and may be closed pending volunteer coverage. You're welcome to email us prior to your visit to confirm availability.
The Blackwell School site land transfer to the federal government is also currently pending, which would result in full park establishment. We are uncertain how establishment may affect our hours or operations once this happens, complicating our ability to offer confirmed hours beyond the next few months.

The Blackwell School is located at 501 S Abbot St, on the corner of Waco and Abbot in South Marfa.
